Peter Frykman

Peter Frykman is the Founder and CEO of Driptech. He received his BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, where he focused on manufacturing and design. He is vitally concerned with the challenge of water scarcity, especially in developing countries. His professional interests include mechatronics, medical devices, and design for extreme affordability. He is an avid rower and two time national champion for Stanford.


Product

Rob Meyer

Rob is a mechanical engineer working on Driptech's manufacturing technology. Before joining Driptech, he designed bicycle frames and other components for Specialized. When Rob wasn't designing bikes he was busy racing them. He graduated from Stanford in 2008 with a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on mechatronics.


SuShien Pang

As Director of Operations, Su is managing Driptech's supply chain and manufacturing in China. After earning BS degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from UC Berkeley, Su worked as an engineer for Agilent Technologies and Zaotech as well as a volunteer in a Guatemalan orphanage for a year. Most recently she has worked in the China and East Africa offices of D.light Design.


Whitfield Fowler

Whit is Driptech's Engineering Manager. He is a visiting lecturer on design for manufacturability at Stanford University and Keio University's graduate school for System Design in Japan. He previously developed electromechanical systems for Velkess, a kinetic energy storage startup. Whit holds a BA in Physics from St. Olaf College and MS and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford.


Zhou (Joe) Wang

Zhou is a mechanical engineer working on Driptech's manufacturing technology. He has previously worked at D2M as a product design engineer for the Embrace infant warmer and in quality control for General Motors in Thailand. Zhou holds a B.Eng. from Chulalongkorn University in Automotive Engineering and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.


Business

Aarthi Vijaykumar

Aarthi is Driptech's Product Manager in India, working with our strategic partners there. She has worked in several international businesses, playing a role in the launch of social enterprises such as D.light and Sesame Workshop India. She successfully ran a carbon credit project in India, the first of its kind. Aarthi holds an MA in Industrial Psychology from Fergusson College in Pune and a BBA in sales and marketing from ICFAI.


Divesh Bhadani

Divesh is Driptech's Business Development Manager in India. He has more than 8 years of work experience in program management, marketing and business development at organizations such as PwC, IL&FS, MCX, and DSCL in India. He brings experience in agribusiness and rural marketing to the team. Divesh has a bachelor's degree in Agriculture from UAS, Bangalore and PGDM in Agribusiness from MANAGE, Hyderabad.


Jean Shia

Jean is Driptech's Director of Business Operations. She was previously a project manager for the investment and development group at Avant Housing, a double bottom line real estate fund. She has also worked for several years as a consultant to economic and international development agencies. She received a BS with Honors in Urban Studies from Cornell University and an MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business.



Jessica Martin

Jessica is Driptech's Operations Lead. Previously an investment strategist at Bank of America, she focused on in-depth thematic research and quantitative analysis in support of the tactical asset allocation guidance offered to clients. As a Fulbright Scholar in Beijing, she spent a year researching the development of China's environmental NGOs. Jessica holds a BA in International Studies and Economics from Fairfield University.


Pratyush Pandey

Pratyush serves as Driptech's India Country Head. Pratyush has over 15 years of experience in for-profit social ventures, non-profits, corporate sector and government supported rural development projects. He was the founding CEO of Global Easy Water Products (GEWP), a for-profit social enterprise. He brings extensive experience in drip irrigation, rural marketing and general management to the team.


Sarah Huber

Sarah is Driptech's Director of Business Development. Previously a project manager at McKinsey & Company working with banks, governments and NGOs around the world, she has also worked with an Indonesian mobile payments startup, an MFI in El Salvador, and in law and structured finance in New York. Sarah holds a Master's degree in International Finance & Policy from Columbia University and a BS from MIT in Management Science.
